2011 Ohio Governors Regional Art Competition

First of all, Mr. and Mrs. Dornan would like to congratulate every student that entered work into yesterdays Ohio Governor's Regional Art Competition. There were many amazing pieces that were submitted by Lakota East. We are very proud of the effort all of our students have been putting into their metals work this year!

Welcome to a new year!

Welcome to Lakota East Metals! I am excited for the 2010-2011 school year! Last year was an amazing year! We were ranked #1 in Ohio and #2 in the U.S. last school year. We have around 25 more students taking Metals this year! Let's go for #1 in Ohio and the U.S. this year!

2010 Governors Art Show State Finalists

This year four students had their artwork chosen for the 2010 Governor's State Art Show. This show narrows down the 12,000 works of art that were submitted and only 300 are chosen for this show. Here's the website to see more information about the show:
